Blogger's Quilt Festival - fall 2012

My entry in the Blogger's Quilt Festival fall 2012 is my Moda Bake Shop quilt ''Vintage Modern Pinwheels''

This quilt is intended for a special someone for Christmas :)

I love this pattern so much that I intend to make another one - I have a jelly roll of WeePlay and a jelly roll of Pezzy prints that I will use for the second version of this pattern :)  I love the chunky hand-stitching with the perle cotton too - so I will probably do red perle cotton the same as this one in the stars/pinwheels too :)

Happy Halloween!  This is the pumpkin that my hubby made for a party we went to Saturday.....

t-shirt yarn

I am not much into crochet, and I don't knit at all, but I couldn't help trying out making some t-shirt yarn using this tutorial when I was culling through hubbies t-shirt stack this morning.  Anything with holes or stains is getting the scissor treatment!

Now, what will I make with them?  I have NO clue.  Maybe a rug for my camper?  It would be nice to have a 'custom' sized rug to fit the drop-down area.......  we'll see!

Modern Siggy block swap

I tried this once, but cancelled due to limited interest and opted to join a different group..........  well, that seems to have been a failure (swap host has not responded to the group in a month), so I am going to attempt a swap again!
