Moda Bake Shop - a year in review
I am SO thrilled to announce that I made Moda Bake Shops top 10 projects this year with my Renaissance Waves quilt! It actually was #5 :) You can go to the MBS here to see the top 10. Or you can go here to see the tutorial on the Renaissance Waves quilt :) Yes, I was grinning from ear to ear for days when I heard!
Here is the link to the bonus tote I made to carry the quilt in too :)

happy mail
I got some new fabric from the UPS man yesterday for a 'baking' project! I wasn't expecting it until today too! Yay for quick deliveries!
'Noteworthy' by Sweetwater for Moda! Such pretty muted colors, I'm excited to get started 'baking'! :)

scrappy Christmas
After I decorated our Christmas tree, and got out the minimal Christmas decorations we keep...... I realized I only had ONE Christmas pillowcover, I knew I *had* to make some more.... Here is the first of 2 different Christmas pillows (one is pieced/quilted, just need to make the zipper backing and bind). This one is copied from one I saw on TwinFibers flickr......
Not one single ''Christmas'' print here, but it sure looks Christmas-y, doesn't it? :)
Maybe next year I'll have a Christmas quilt for the couch....... although I've said that for years now, LOL.

I'm a curvy girl........
I am getting pretty good at these curves. Lots of practice with this quilt!
I got 11 more blocks finished over the weekend! Yayyy! If my math is correct, that means I have only 11 more to do to get to my goal of 49 blocks for a 7x7 layout (an 84x84 quilt)
But, I *might* do a pieced border of the outer curves to finish off the circles, what do you think? I think this would make it almost a 90x90 quilt.....
I could do a faux piped binding with red as the binding and white as the 'piping' too........
Which layout would you choose?

quilting the bottled rainbow
about a month ago, I started quilting the bottled rainbow quilt - I got straight line quilting done in the borders, but now I am at a standstill. I put it aside until I decide what to do in the panels..........
any ideas????

9 more blocks
I got 9 more blocks finished today on the Urban 9-patch........ that makes 27 in total, WHEW!
I hope I can hold out to 49 to make a queen size quilt! This one is taking me forever, but I *love* it......
