I have this stack of 'rainbow' charm squares.........
A lovely stack indeed..........
I just have NO plans for them!
I was in 2 different charm square swaps - and this is 10 yards worth of material! That means 560 charm squares! A lot! Using 400 (20x20) I could make a 90x90 quilt. Or make them into HST's and stretch it to enough for probably 3 quilts.
Not to mention, I have 5 yards worth of 'layer cake' rainbow pieces too. Oye. What was I thinking?! LOL
I honestly like to have a plan for all the fabric in my closet! What would YOU make with these charms if they were yours?
Well I have 4 yards of Ami Butler charm squares and just got 4 yards of Denyse Schmidt charm squares in the mail today. Im actually planning on two charm quilts for ME! Just like the charm quilts my grandma used to make. I may even tie them like she did! I also have rainbow bricks(5x10), low volume, and I spy. Im thinking maybe 3 charm square quilts? it gets cold in the winter! :o)
ReplyDeleteI was in one of those rainbow charm swaps. I'm going to use at least part of mine to do OH Fransson!'s tokyo subway map quilt. I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of them. .. .
ReplyDeleteWell I have a couple of folks I need to make play mats / changing pads for - or maybe a toddler quilt.
ReplyDeleteI'm liking this one http://pinterest.com/pin/178736678933981319/ But I don't know that I want to do that much embroidery for a full size quilt. Lovely tho'. Toni
