I have been working on a few of the MBS countdown to Christmas blocks. Unfortunately I have way too much going on this time of year to do all the blocks, maybe in January I can continue.

Doesn't seem possible, but this is my 16th project for the Moda Bake Shop! Introducing a very easy and beginner friendly quilt project, On Point Baby! The method of construction is so much easier than piecing angled rows - check it out on the MBS blog! I can't wait to do this method with jelly rolls and a full sized quilt!

I have a new Moda Bake Shop project posted today!
I know, I am a bad girl and didn't get it quilted. I may have forgotten to order backing when I ordered the material for the top though - and didn't have anything on hand that would work unfortunately. Backing is ordered now though - and I will get it quilted and updated pics ASAP.
Any suggestions for quilting? I don't have a longarm, so my quilting is done on my sewing machine. I was thinking about a FMQ swirl for this one - it has been a while since I did swirls :) Although diagonal straight line stitching might be nice here too. Hmmm.

Sorry for neglecting this blog lately! I haven't been quilting for several months until the last couple weeks. I got some "The Good Life" for a new Moda Bake Shop project.
Here is a sneek peek (this is my favorite print from the collection)
Aaaaand, only 396 bonus triangles to press....

I noticed that I forgot to share the finished picture of my scrappy Irish chain quilt! This is a variation of my scrappy Irish chain quilt I made for Moda Bake Shop (that one I used a ''Pond'' green chain and Bonnie and Camille fabrics). This one has a red chain and American Jane fabrics (Pezzy prints and Wee Play mostly). I adore this quilt, and it is a keeper! I did a simple crosshatch in red thread and the backing is red-multi Pezzy print :) My favorite!
